What is Internet banking?

Internet Banking allows you to use a personal computer connected to the internet to perform your banking through the Internet, including checking balances, transferring money, paying bills and more.

How do I sign up for Internet Banking?

Riddell National Bank customers: Go to our homepage and click the "first time user" link under the online banking login prompt. Non-Riddell National Bank customers: Please stop in and establish a depository relationship with our bank. We'd like to meet you and show you all our bank has to offer.

How much does Internet Banking cost?

There is no additional charge for our customers to use Internet Banking in order to access account information, balance your register and conduct transactions, such as account transfers, etc.

What Internet browsers can I use with Internet Banking?

Our system requires the use of the most recent release of Chrome, Firefox, or Microsoft Internet Explorer® 10.0 or higher. Browsers other than this are not supported and may not function properly.

What do I do if I forget my password? (or my account is locked)

For your security, three successive incorrect password attempts will cause your account to be locked. Please contact the bank to unlock your account. As an additional security measure, an e-mail will be sent to you automatically to inform you when your account has been locked or unlocked. If you forget your password you will need to click "forgot password" and enter your "Access ID" you will then be provided with a temporary password. The next time you log in using the provided temporary password you will be prompted to change your password.

How do I change my password?

To change your password at anytime, go to the "Account Services" section and choose "Change Password". Enter your newly chosen password twice and click OK. As a security measure, an e-mail will be sent to you automatically to inform you when your password has been changed.

How do account transfers work?

You can transfer funds to and from your checking, savings and money market accounts and pay loans. Transfers will be reflected immediately on your account.

I use Quicken now, but I am very interested in Internet Banking. What can I do?

You can export select transaction information from Internet Banking to your Quicken, Microsoft Money or Quickbooks program using the Quicken Import File (QIF) format.

What is Electronic Bill Pay?

Electronic Bill Pay is the most convenient service to be introduced since ATM's. As a subscriber, you can pay almost any bill by Internet through your bank's Internet banking service.

How do I get started?

To take advantage of this free service, go to our homepage and enroll in our online banking. As an online banking user, you can enroll in bill pay anytime by clicking on the bill payment link.

How soon can I start making payments?

You can start scheduling payments immediately.

Is there anyone I cannot pay?

Other than government taxing authorities, or court-directed payments such as alimony or child support, almost anyone in the U.S. may be paid using this product.

How soon are funds actually taken out of my account?

Your designated account will be debited on the processing date of your bill payment. 

How close to the original payment date can I change or cancel a bill payment?

You will be able to change or cancel a payment that has not started processing. Payments will start processing anywhere from 1 to 4 business days prior to the due date the customer selected when setting up the transaction.

How far in advance can I schedule a payment?

You may schedule a payment up to 1 year in advance.


How safe is my account information?

Riddell National Bank employs the latest security technology and state-of-the-industry security software and hardware to ensure your account information remains safe. With proven encryption, firewalls and trusted operating systems incorporated into our overall banking architecture, we have made it possible for secure and authentic transactions to take place over the Internet.

How do I contact the bank if I have a question or comment about Internet Banking?

If you have any questions, comments or concerns you may e-mail us at or call us at 812.448.2611.

We will respond to e-mail messages with an answer or confirmation notice within one business day of receiving the message. Please include your name, mailing address, phone number and a general description of your question so we can promptly review your account activity and respond either by e-mail, telephone or U.S. Mail. Please note that normal e-mail is not a secure environment like Internet Banking. Please do not include any sensitive information in your e-mail, such as account numbers, passwords or social security numbers. If you are logged into our Internet Banking site, you may use the Secured Messaging feature to convey information. This information stays within the secured environment, so you may include whatever information you want your banker to see.

Can Riddell National Bank answer questions about my Internet Service connection?

Your best source of information regarding any issues you have with your Internet connection is your Internet Service Provider (such as Verizon, Time Warner, AT&T, etc.). Their customer service personnel are trained to answer all your Internet connection questions.

Can Riddell National Bank answer questions about my computer?

The same holds true for any questions about your computer. Contact the hardware manufacturer or software company for best results.

Can I use Internet Banking from outside the United States?

Yes! Just use a secure browser such as Firefox, Chrome, Safari 4.0 or higher, and Microsoft Internet Explorer® 7.0 or higher.
